5 The tend command allows transfer of commodities
6 from a particular (supply) ship to patrol boats,
7 submarines, battleships, etc. while at sea.
9 If you had cargo ship #16 which had food, and your fleet S needed food,
10 you could resupply the entire fleet with 20 units of food by typing
13 Requirements are that the tending ship must be in the same sector
14 as the tended ships, and it must be yours, or belong to a country that
15 considers you a friendly trading partner.
16 A positive <AMT> indicates the amount the tender will give away,
17 while a negative amount indicates the amount that the tender
18 will try to extract from each ship. (However, you cannot take goods
19 from a friendly ship by giving a negative amount)
21 Only land units with the "assault" capability may be tended between
22 ships. If you wanted to tend land unit #23 from ship #8 to ship #17,
25 Besides the "assault" capability restriction, tending land units has
26 the same effect as though you were simply loading the unit onto a
27 ship. In particular, you may tend land units to "friendly" ships in
30 .SA "load, unload, lload, lunload, ltend, Ships, Moving"
